Amanda Harrington, Director of Training and Development for Foundation Supportworks, Inc., was honored in December of 2011 as a recipient of the Midlands Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Award. In the May 25th issue of the Midlands Business Journal, a weekly business paper of Greater Omaha, Lincoln and Council Bluffs, Amanda was featured as a result of this award.

Josh Anstey recently joined the FSI team as their Video Production Specialist.

The Hope Center for Kids 10th Annual Golf Classic was held on Monday, June 11th at Champions Run in Omaha, Nebraska. Thrasher Basement Systems was proud to be a sponsor for this annual event benefiting at-risk inner city children and youth. The Hope Center for Kids faithfully inspires HOPE in youth and children in the inner city through Education, Employment, Collaboration and Faith.

June 2nd, 2012 marked the 7th Annual Ollie's Dream Gala in Omaha, Nebraska. Thrasher Basement Systems and Foundation Supportworks employees attended the event in support of the mission of the Ollie Webb Center, Inc.

Thrasher Basement Systems held their 2nd quarter meeting on Monday, May 21st. At the meeting, employees were brought up-to-date on goings on and "The One" awards were given out.

David Thrasher, Vice President of Foundation Supportworks, and his wife, Tabitha, welcomed their 3rd baby, Sophie Jean Thrasher, on Friday, May 11th at 8:39 a.m. Sophie weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and is 19.75 inches long. Congratulations to David, Tabitha, big sister, Addison and big brother, Landon! She is a cutie!

During the week of April 16th, Foundation Supportworks, along with Thrasher Basement Systems hosted over 60 foundation repair contractors from throughout the United States and Canada for a week long training seminar.

On Wednesday, April 25th Thrasher Basement Systems and Foundation Supportworks celebrated "We Love Our Staff Day." This day is just a small token of our thanks for everything that our office staff does to support our teams.

Thrasher would like to congratulate Juan Matos and his crew Fernando Medina, Juan Aguilera and Mike Malotky for taking home the Crew of the Month AND the WOW! Service Award for the month of March.

Nick Farris, Thrasher Basement Systems' Mechanic, and wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of daughter Amelia Charlotte Farris, born on Thursday, March 15th. Amelia was born 12 weeks early and weighs 4 lbs. Proud daddy, Nick, says that everyone is doing well! Congratulations Nick and Nicole and welcome Amelia! Pictures coming soon.

On Wednesday, March 14th, Thrasher Radon Specialists including Don Good, Joel Hookham, Aaron Hunter, Kate Spielman and Jason Jones, attended a Regional Stakeholder’s Meeting for radon in Nebraska City, Nebraska. The meeting was designed to bring stakeholders together to discuss and understand common radon issues from new perspectives, as well as to provide insight into the future. It was an opportunity to educate and network with other radon professionals who have a stake in protecting the public from unnecessary exposure to radon in their homes, schools and businesses.

Thrasher is pleased to welcome a new System Design Specialist to our Omaha team. Ryan Penland comes to Thrasher with over 10 years of experience in sales and service roles. As a System Design Specialist, Ryan designs waterproofing and foundation repair solutions for our customers on a daily basis.

On Monday, March 12th Thrasher Basement Systems and Foundation Supportworks' Social Committee kicked off a year of fun activities with a company-wide pancake feed.

The Environmental Protection Agency has recently proposed a large budget cut from their radon program.

Thrasher Basement Systems and Foundation Supportworks welcomed Abby Peters, Procurement Coordinator, to the team on Monday, March 5th. Abby is serving as a true advocate for FSI's dealer network by maintaining a product inventory that anticipates the dealers' needs so product can always be shipped on time. Congratulations to Brian Black, System Design Specialist, and wife, Krista, as they welcome baby boy, Hudson Jacob Black into the world on Thursday, March 1st at 10:01 PM. Hudson weighed 7lbs. 4oz. Everyone is doing great! Please join us in congratulating Brian and Krista!
