About Dan
From birth, Dan Thrasher was surrounded by his parents’ family business. The company was founded in 1975, and at that time his bedroom even doubled as the company headquarters!
People often ask Dan why he decided to work in the family business and he answers by saying “that is all I ever knew and I have a strong passion for it.” Dan’s parents encouraged him to go out and try something different. After graduating from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Communications and Marketing Degree, and working in sales for a publishing company, he decided to return home. Dan feels that when you really understand something and you enjoy doing it, it is hard to work in another area that is completely different.
Since that time, Dan has worked hard to become an expert in the foundation repair field. Dan is a Certified Waterproofing Professional and a Certified Foundation Specialist. Dan attends at least five industry seminars per year, and engages in training other employees on an ongoing basis.
Our mission is: “To be the best in our industry. To ‘wow’ our customers every step of the way.” Dan takes personal responsibility to “wow” each customer on every job and is a trusted and valued member of the Thrasher Basement Systems team. He says that one of the best things about serving our customers is “knowing that, having them work with our company, they will get the best service available in our industry.” Dan also enjoys working here because he has the “chance to see the transformation in people’s homes.”
