Thrasher Employees Participate in The Great Egg Drop
The Thrasher Basement Systems Production, Service and Sales Teams participated in "The Great Egg Drop" on Monday, July 26th
at their respective team meetings. The Great Egg Drop is a team building activity that involves creativity and problem solving given a set of resources.
The members of the Production and Service team were grouped by crews. Two crews joined together, were given 6 sheets of paper, 2 paper clips, 10 straws, 7 toothpicks, a piece of masking tape, 4 popsicle sticks and 1 egg. Each team was given 20 minutes to build a structure, with the egg inside. Dan Thrasher, Director of Operations, then took each structure and dropped it from 10 feet in elevation and then inspected to see if the eggs survived.
The members of the Sales team participated in the same team building activity during their meeting on Monday as well. The winners were the groups that were successful in protecting their egg. The activity was a great opportunity to work together and have a little fun in the process!
