Thrasher Judges Better Business Integrity Awards
Dan Thrasher, Director of
Operations, recently served as a judge for the 2010 Better Business Bureau
Integrity Awards per a request from the Better Business Bureau. Dan was honored to review nominations
and applications for this year's award, as well as assist in choosing the
winners. Thrasher Basement Systems
is a two-time winner of the award, most recently in 2008 and also in 2000. Thrasher also received an Honorable
Mention for the award in 2006 and was a finalist in 2007.
As stated on the Better Business Bureau's website, the mission of
the Better Business Bureau is "to be the leader in advancing marketplace
trust." In this spirit, BBB Integrity Awards were created to: Gain public recognition for
businesses that go "above and beyond" in serving their customers, suppliers,
employees and communities; Recognize businesses for their commitment to
maintaining cultures that consistently set exceptionally high standards of
behavior in buyer and seller relationships; Highlight the importance of
corporate conscience and responsibility in fulfilling a company's obligation to
the marketplace to do what is right and fair; and Demonstrate to the business
community that adhering to BBB ethical standards is the hallmark of successful,
competitive companies.
Thrasher Basement Systems is proud
to be a two-time winner of the Better Business Bureau's Business Integrity
Award and to be recognized for their honesty and integrity. As Greg Thrasher, Owner and President
stated: "Receiving the BBB's Integrity Award has meant a great deal to Thrasher
Basement Systems. Specifically, we have felt a renewed sense of pride in our
business and in our employees. In addition, we feel that our customer service
and sales volume are made stronger when the community knows about our business
ethics. People want to work with good people, and when they hear that we have
won this award, they have a greater sense of confidence in our company!"
